Sports for Kids started in 1990 and focuses on being a physically active out of school care provider. Join us with our developmentally appropriate approach to physical literacy and gross motor development. If you enjoy encouraging children to run, climb, jump and just be all around active then have we got the job for you. Each of our 3 centres has a gym area to provide sports classes and physical activities to the participants.

Current Positions Available

We are looking for Early Childhood Educators immediately for our Out of School Care Settings. Focus will be coaching our sports programs according to the Long Term Athletic Development model. Duties can include but are not limited to active games and activities with children, coaching preschool sports programs, learning and teaching the fundamentals of sports (how to throw a ball, how to kick a ball) and giving children the tools needed to be active for life.

We prefer candidates that legally are able to work with children on their own - Level 2 or 3 certification - and we will require a first aid certificate and a criminal record check within the first month of employment. Knowledge of coaching sports is an asset but not necessary as we will train.
